Saturday morning about 6 am I will be loading Kansas in the trailer and we will head out. We want to get to Sidney Nebraska @ cabelas they have camping and horse pens for our lay over there. Get ready to read about our trip. I looked up weather for all the way across and so far the only thing we are going to get is wind. No snow in the forecast not even for elk mountain yee haw!!!!
Kansas became my partner on Feb.3rd, 2010 when I rescued him and his sister Lu Lu from a bad living situation. He was untouchable and some thought he was untamable. Kansas and I have been partners since that day. He is my Hero, He is my sanity. We are partners till death do us part. I started this blog because I want to share some of the exciting adventures of Kansas and I in our life together. We have already had so many and as I go along I will share them with you.
Gonna get back to the trail this year!!
I’m so excited I have a lot of riding time for Kansas and I have landed this year. We are starting our riding season this year by going to Indian caves state park in Nebraska. I have wanted to ride at Indian caves for a lot of years and I finally get to. Then we will head to Lexington Missouri for 2 or 3 day to big river ranch to ride with my granddaughters Halee and Sophia. Then when we leave big river ranch we will be heading to Jasper Arkansas. We will be heading back home in Idaho May 1st so that Robert and I can go visit family in California for a little reunion so Kansas will have about a week break to readjust to the altitude change then off to the mountains we go. our summer will be full of camping and trail riding so stay tuned for trail stories and pics.
