I am going to start this post with a picture of Kansas and I at Lonesome D Horse Camp in New Blaine, Arkansas. Kansas came into my life Feb. 2010 I rescued him and his awesome sister LuLu from a very bad situation. When they came into my life neither of them had been handled much at all and they were both VERY VERY SICK. The first 3 weeks I had Kansas I did not think he would make it through. But he did and he is my best friend and my hero. LuLu is a absolutely awesome little mare too. LuLu is with my 6 year old granddaughter Sophia loving every event Sophia takes her to. She is a perfect match for Sophia and we are so thankful she came into our lives with Kansas. In June of 2010 I got Kansas back from the trainer and him and I have been partners every since. He has carried me thousands of miles since that day in June that I brought him home from the trainers. Our hearts are connected and when I go to the barn I can tell Kansas loves me just as much as I love him. Man this horse is AWESOME!!! Kansas and I have rode trails in Arkansas , Missouri and Oklahoma.  We love to camp and ride and plan on doing alot of it. I will use this blog to tell you all about the adventures of Kansas and I.
